Route 8 Truss Bridge in shop

The top and bottom chords are welded boxes. The verticals and diagonals are H shapes made from plate. Many of the members are fracture critical. Holes in all members are drilled with CNC drilling machines. Fabricated pieces receive three coats of paint in a separate paint shop.
